Kinport Assembly of God is a pentecostal church within the Assemblies of God (ag.org). Our mission is to empower people for life through an authentic, life-changing relationship with Jesus Christ.
We meet people where they are in life, because that's what God does. We are not perfect, and we don't assume or expect that anyone else should be. What we want most is to help you understand and enter into a relationship with God, His Son, and the Holy Spirit.
Our Sundays are designed to receive and celebrate the presence of God, no matter your age or experience in faith!
We have a special, interactive Bible study that begins at 9:30a.m. called "Community Builders", with the intention of building community together and learning more about Jesus. We have different groups depending on age range and they normally last about 45 minutes.
At 10:30a.m. we all gather together for our Worship Service. We'll spend time in worship, singing songs and celebrating who God is, we have a time of prayer, and we receive an encouraging message from our Lead Pastor. This service lasts about 90 minutes and we end right around 12:00p.m.
You can come to both experiences, or come and check our Worship Service out first before commiting to other ministries.
If you have kids, GREAT! We have a nursery for your infants and toddlers and we have a children's ministry called Kinport Kids (K-5th grade)! Here's how it works: Your children that are ages 7+ will join the adults for our time of worship in the Ministry Center, and following our time of prayer they will be dismissed back to our Next Gen Center. If you have children 6 or below, they will be able to go immediately back to the Next Gen Center / Nursery for a time of worship and teaching appropriate for their age.
If your children are in 6th grade or above, we have a ministry for them called Kinport Youth! While our Youth on Sunday mornings will worship and stay with the adults in the Ministry Center, they have their own youth service Sunday evenings at 6:00p.m.!
Yes! Our goal is to keep our church family engaged throughout the week! On Sunday evenings we have Kinport Youth for our youth students, Bible Quiz, and for the adults we have a time of prayer and devotion at 6:00p.m.
We also have mid-week events, including prayer nights (contact the church office for exact times), and a Family Communities Night on Wednesday evenings. During Family Communities Night, we have small adult communities that gather for Bible study and/or special video discussions, Royal Rangers for our boys, and Girl Ministries for our girls!
For us, these are two separate questions. First, our mission statement. We want to EMPOWER PEOPLE FOR LIFE through a process we call LOVE, SERVE, and GO! Jesus teaches us that we need to love our God and our neighbors, serve our people and communities as He served, and go out and make disciples! We want to empower you to live out His mission!
